A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day):

• Administration and hardening of a large Windows based enterprise (200+ hosts), to include Domain Name System (DNS) and Active Directory.
• Configure large data stores (2+ Terabytes) such as SANS and DAS with Windows
• Utilizes a combination of technical skills combined with good administrative and communication skills.
• Implements performance standards and defines monitoring report requirements as well as technical graphs.
• Reviews and analyzes technical deliverables such as system design documents, implementation plans and test plans.
• Performs a detailed review of project deliverables and acceptance criteria for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to contractual and functional requirements.
• Ability to manage/provide IT support for multiple sites alone locally.
• Travel for support of high profile cases on short notice is occasionally required.
• Must be able to work autonomously and under very little supervision

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):

• Top Secret Clearance
• 5+ years of Systems Administration Experience
• Ability to understand/configure local group policy settings for system changes.
• Knowledge for management of Symantec Endpoint encryption software and Bitlocker drive encryption.
• Strong technical understanding of Windows 10 environment for quick and immediate troubleshooting due to political environment.
• Knowledge of NIST standards for use with the cyber security asset management (CSAM) program. CSAM is an information systems security audit management program, the heavy lifting is pretty much done with this task and we've received an ATO letter that is good for another 3 years. From this point forward an administrator will periodically need to go in the system to verify compliance with new requirements added to the system, and be able to answer high level information systems security questions.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to synthesize complex technical issues for presentation to non-technical personnel.
