WHAT TO EXPECT:Â
The main goal of the D-Wave IT team is to provide top notch infrastructure and support service to all of D-Wave. In this role, you’ll be working with our team to design and maintain our core IT Infrastructure services, including our network, security systems, telephony services and backup environments. You’ll also help support our users with OS specific issues directly and provide network and security support across the entire company IT infrastructure, both local and remote.Â
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Architect, deploy, proactively monitor and maintain our company infrastructure so it is modern, secure, up to date, and meets the changing needs of our internal customers
- Manage our core and endpoint security related systems and tools such as our Firewalls, IDS, MDM solution, antivirus software and central encryption management productsÂ
- Maintain and administer our Atlassian Suite toolsÂ
- Maintain and develop existing Enterprise IT services such as: AD/LDAP, Centrify, RSA, Outlook365 etc.Â
- Help define, implement, maintain and monitor hardware, services, security and network devicesÂ
- Assist our internal helpdesk with security, communications and OS related issues (Windows/OSX/Linux)Â
- Support, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of enterprise and development computing systemsÂ
- Provide tier 2 support for internal and external customersÂ
- Occasionally assist L1 support with hands-on troubleshooting and fixes, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applicationsÂ
- Work with the DevOps team on maintaining connection points to AWS and inject your skills around Kubernetes, Chef and Terraform to assist in development and infrastructure needsÂ
- Develop scripts and automation to optimize workflow efficiencyÂ
YOU ARE:
- 5+ years' experience in IT security, hardware, and networking, with hands-on experience equivalent to or exceeding the CCNA certification.
- Expertise in configuring and maintaining Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory (AD), Intune, and Entra ID.Â
- Proven ability in developing and maintaining IP networks, including both the physical and logical design of LANs and VPNs, encompassing VLAN configuration, subnetting, access control, wireless network setup, and remote site connectivity.Â
- Proficient in managing content management systems such as Atlassian and SharePoint.Â
- Experienced in working with cloud infrastructure services, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure.Â
- In-depth expertise with the XCP-ng hypervisor, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance.Â
