Position Summary

The BBH Enterprise Services/Enterprise Systems Technology is looking for a motivated Systems Business Analyst. In this role you will act as a liaison between technical and business user groups in support of applications overseen by the Enterprise Services and Enterprise Systems discipline.

The Systems Business Analyst will have high-level accountability to:

  • Work with business team surrounding product releases, enhancement requests, support issues and optimization efforts.
  • Learn and support the vendor products themselves, whether through hands-on administration and configuration or through working with vendors to deliver value to business clients.
  • Leverage other BBH teams within BBH to provide action plans and deliver single sign-on, cyber vulnerabilities remediation, end-of-life replatforming and reporting.

These applications and vendors, including but not limited to, are core BBH application supporting the day-to-day administration of BBH's work and are used across every business line and support team within BBH. This position handles workflow analysis, vendor management, technical coordination, technical development (as directed) project management, and business analysis.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Performing DB queries where possible and analyzing data/workflows
  • Production support, issues analysis and remediation efforts
  • Maintaining documentation describing business logic and application behavior
  • Administration, where appropriate, of application configuration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or 3 to 5 years of financial services or consulting experience.
  • 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven business analysis skills, including business requirements, product proposals and business and technical workflows.
  • Ability to analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to learn technical configuration skills for vendor products and recommend and/or implement solutions.
  • Proven project management, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and independent working style.

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000, which is specific to Jersey City, NJ and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
