Systems Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

The Systems Engineer will develop forward thinking IT blueprints and technology roadmaps, and drive alignment and acceptance of the Enterprise architecture with multiple stakeholders. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for overseeing network infrastructure performance and reliability. Additional projects will include standardizing, scaling, and automated retail infrastructure.

JOB DUTIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Network and Data Security best practices implementation.
• Contribute to API Integrations, provisioning, SSO and SAML configurations for new and existing applications.
• Assist in architecture expansion planning, and process engineering.
• Conduct research projects, including AI/ML and other emerging trends, that inform and shape the development of business and information architecture.
• Experience with DevOps and build automation in an Enterprise environment.
• Write PowerShell scripts, Microsoft Installers (MSIs) and other custom actions for application packages.
• Upgrade/install/patch new and existing hardware and software components for the cloud infrastructure.
• Reduce time and cost to onboard and resolve tickets through automation utilizing enterprise ticketing system.
• ERP infrastructure management in AWS EC2

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

None

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in both cloud and non-cloud compute environment.
• 7+ years’ Experience with Cisco Meraki Switches, Firewalls and WAP’s.
• Strong working knowledge in EntraID and auto-provisioning device deployments.

• 7+ years Microsoft Active Directory, 0365, ADFS, Azure Authentication, policy configuration, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives and employee onboarding/off boarding process automation
• Support Infrastructure for Data Analytics
• 1-3 years’ experience in Snowflake Cloud Data Platform designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.
• 3 years Snowflake Administration- Performance analysis, automation, security, and cost optimization. Data warehousing pipelines.

• 2-3 years of experience using Power automate for workflow efficiencies and automating processes.
• 2-3 Years building out infrastructure for PowerBI.
• Knowledgeable with ITIL processes and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred industry standard certifications: VOIP, Network+, MCSE
• Ability to perform in a demanding environment where change is common.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
