Job Description

Alion Science and Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop Advanced Program Concepts for implementation in today's battlespace. The position requires the ability to apply systems engineering principles, including MBSE applications to architect and provide the front-end development of potential Hardware/Software solutions. The candidate will support modern EW and RADAR development efforts in response to the challenges faced by the today's Combatant Commanders.

The candidate will work closely with line management to provide leadership in solution development and customer response. The candidate will also work directly with potential customers to support the marriage of warfighter need to the art of the possible. The position requires a thirst for understanding the market as well as the desire to respond with agility and creativity.

The successful candidate must have at minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering, or similar degree, and have experience in the application of Cameo or similar software tooling. The candidate also requires direct experience in design, preferably in an OEM environment and has the experience to help build an engineering organization. Knowledge of FPGA implementation and firmware implementation is also a plus.
