Job Requirements:
Alkegen has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Global Talent team. The role will involve supporting recruiting efforts, arranging interviews, preparing offer letters and new hire orientation. Assists the TA function in contributing to improving talent acquisition processes where required and will be highly involved in the global team.
Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of the North American recruitment pipeline working with in country HR Business Partners and hiring managers
- Source candidates through networking, job boards, social media, internet research, etc.
- Review resumes in Workday and compare to position qualifications
- Conduct initial phone screening of candidates and recommend candidates for further screening by HR and hiring manager
- Create interview schedules and seamlessly manage coordination between candidate and hiring teams
- Coordinate pre-hire process to include pre-employment screening, preparing new hire paperwork, processing new hires in Workday, assisting hiring managers with first day preparation
- Create a great candidate experience at every stage in the talent acquisition process from phone screening, to scheduling interviews, to pre-hire process
- Help evaluate new technology and tools and present research and recommendations to the Sr Manager Talent Acquisition
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Workday recruiting module preferred
- Strong excel skills to include experience with sorting data, formulas and creating charts and graphs
- Self-starter with a positive attitude who takes initiative to learn, ask questions, and recommend ways to improve existing processes
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, communication skills, and high standards in exercising confidentiality and trustworthiness
- Sound critical thinking and research capabilities
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
