The Role

Donorbox is looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate to join our tight-knit Operations team and assist in our recruitment efforts. This individual will report to our Director of Operations and will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting exceptional candidates for our organization.

You’ll contribute to our organization's success by supporting our recruitment process, and joining an exciting and collaborative environment focused on finding the best candidates to help us achieve our mission of serving nonprofits.

This is a fully remote role and requires coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact and driver of the entire recruitment journey, taking end-to-end responsibility for the full-cycle recruiting process
    Post engaging and accurate job advertisements on various platforms such as LinkedIn, Wellfound, and Indeed, effectively communicating the requirements and responsibilities of the roles

  • Actively source and identify potential candidates through online portals, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other channels

  • Conduct initial screenings and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers via Greenhouse, ensuring a smooth and efficient process

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and document progress throughout the recruitment process in Greenhouse

  • Build positive relationships with candidates and an excellent candidate experience, providing timely communication and addressing their questions or concerns

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers, gathering feedback and ensuring alignment on recruitment objectives and their vision for the role

  • Handle administrative tasks, including documentation, offer letters, and compliance with employment laws

  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and provide insights for process improvement

  • Conduct professional reference checks via phone/email and background checks via Checkr to ensure candidate suitability

  • Conduct verbal offer calls and take ownership over the offer process, providing a positive candidate experience

  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization

  • Update and maintain email templates for efficient and professional candidate communication

Qualifications & Experience
  • 1-2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or similar experience is required

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively multiple-task

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and comfortable working with data for analysis and reporting

  • Familiarity with onboarding processes and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires

  • Proficiency in updating and maintaining email templates for effective candidate communication

Bonus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience working with an international team, demonstrating cross-cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively in diverse and inclusive environments

  • Experience with Greenhouse and BambooHR

  • Experience with Dropbox Sign or other electronic signature platforms

  • Previous startup and SaaS experience is a plus

Details
  • Fully remote

  • Candidates must be based or willing to work in the EST timezone in the United States

  • Salary: $50K to $65K USD, depending on experience and location
