Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Manager will ensure that Bergen attracts the best talent to support its growth and mission to being the best 3PL in the world. The Talent Acquisition Manager leads the TA function's processes, strategy, budgeting, reporting and analysis. The TA Manager collaborates with the business and across all functions to provide strategic insight into successful recruiting efforts. This is a player coach role with the task of leading the function while also being responsible for filling open jobs.

- Advises the company on TA initiatives and market trends to ensure the company's ability to attract the best talent for its mission.
- Implements and executes the company recruiting strategy.
- Providing full lifecycle recruiting services.
- Maximizes the company's technological, digital, and social tools to cast a wide net for building a powerful applicant pool.
- Assesses TA sourcing efforts and initiates improvements.
- Fills open positions quickly and effectively and at the lowest cost.
- Provides relevant reporting to key business partners; creates new reporting tools.
- Creates recruiting metrics that are relevant to the business.
- Serves as the point of contact for external vendor partnerships.
- Oversees the company's new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
- Conducts interviewing, selection and recruiting training to hiring managers.
- Manages the TA budget.
- Manages the company's internal employee referral program and ensures it is effective and relevant.
- Leads TA related initiatives such as community partnerships, internship programs, etc.
- Assesses the company's digital strategy in furtherance of acquiring or building out technological solutions.
- Effectively coaches hiring managers and colleagues and provides opportunities for collaboration, development, and upskilling to enhance the company's TA skill set.
- Leads and directs performance management for team.
- Ensures the company is compliant with all DOL, EEOC hiring related regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; SHRM certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in leading a TA function.
- 5-8 years of experience working in a recruiting capacity.
- Experience working with ATS systems; Workable, preferred.
- 2-4 years logistics, warehouse, 3PL, manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Strong reporting capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Proactive problem solver.
- Self-motivated and work with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to perform with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Collaborative and a good team player.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
