We are seeking an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition/HR Specialist.

The Talent Acquisition/HR Specialist will recruit, source, screen and interview potential talent making recommendations regarding hiring decisions. While this role will focus primarily on the full cycle recruitment process, the individual will work closely with the HR Manager to advance Atos Medical to be an Employer of Choice in the areas of compensation, benefits, development, employee engagement and retention.

Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition/HR Specialist

  • Develop a recruitment plan to fill the talent pipeline of current and future needs.
  • Manage the recruitment requisition process ensuring all roles are appropriately approved.
  • Source candidates through cold calling, search engines, referrals, networking, career fairs, and other avenues.
  • Build upon the current Atos Medical employment brand by being a brand ambassador and leveraging social media tools to establish Atos Medical as an employer of choice.
  • Generate and maintain job postings; determine effective advertising and place appropriate advertisements.
  • Pre-screen, interview, assess and recommend top-quality candidates while providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Administer skill assessments, background and reference checks on all potential candidates prior to job offer.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, agencies, and other sources of high-quality candidates.
  • Represent Atos Medical at job fairs.
  • Plan recruitment strategies to attract a diverse workforce.
  • Prepare recruitment metrics that monitor incoming candidate quality by sourcing channel, time-to-fill, quality of hire and new hire effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with leaders across the organization to ensure an effective partnership throughout the recruitment and hiring process for their open positions.
  • Demonstrate current knowledge of and compliance with employment laws and regulations in all recruitment, hiring and employment activities.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives
  • Provide support to the HR Manager in generalist duties.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications for the Talent Acquisition/HR Specialist

  • Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, significant relevant experience will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition or HR generalist role responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications for the Talent Acquisition/HR Specialist.

  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential.
  • 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise at sourcing top talent and leveraging social media to passively source talent for current and future roles.
  • Experience in assessments / tests
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple openings and talent searches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to truly be a team player.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.
