Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $88,300.00 - $147,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Cox Communications is currently looking for a Talent Solutions Manager, Flex to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia.This is a hybrid role, and the schedule is a mix of work-from-office/work-from-home.

The Role:

The Talent Solutions Manager, Flex plays a strategic role in shaping the workforce and culture of the company to meet future challenges and opportunities. In this position, you will flex across the organization to support prioritized talent needs, partnering with relationship managers to either execute strategies already created or assess current team and organization performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, employee engagement, and overall organizational health. Your efforts will be geared towards creating an environment that fosters leader and team performance, aligned with the company's strategic goals. Interventions may include facilitation, leadership development, coaching, and/or talent and succession planning.

Responsibilities:

  • This role consults with Talent Solutions relationship managers, HRBPs, and Business leaders to understand talent needs, proactively develop action plans/processes to resolve business and/or organizational solutions, partner with leaders to drive successor and workforce readiness, construct talent solutions aligned to strategy, and inform broader cross-divisional leadership development solutions.
  • Uses organization diagnostic models such as Performance Consulting, Human Performance Technology, and action research to isolate root causes to identify solutions. Partners closely with project team members to deliver comprehensive recommendations to business function talent segments.
  • Facilitates workshops or charrettes to support talent planning or organization development interventions with HRBPs and Leaders.
  • May provide select internal coaching services to leaders only as capacity allows. Designs, customizes, and executes organizational talent needs assessments, diagnosis, and process analyses.
  • Designs and manages projects to deliver key OD initiatives to address identified gaps and improve individual, team and cross-organizational / functional performance and effectiveness.

  • Designs and facilitates effective senior-level and cross-organizational working group meetings, retreats and workshops in support of OD strategies.
  • Identifies and applies assessment instruments to underpin coaching and team development sessions.
  • Provides individual coaching and performance consultation for leaders as capacity allows.
  • Identifies strategies that integrate talent and organizational performance, processes, tools and automation, change methodologies and culture to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Formulate sound, reliable, and comprehensive recommendations to improve organization's performance and business results.
  • Mines talent data to "tell the story", and shares insights/analysis regarding I&D, employee movement, workforce composition, and talent readiness.
  • Partners with Talent Practices leaders to drive adoption of core HR talent processes including talent planning/review, org development consulting, strategic workforce planning and leadership development.
  • Partners with Business Leaders and HRBPs to lead and support talent/organization development, leadership development, and talent planning efforts ranging from small to large initiatives.
  • Delivers select leadership and executive development initiatives specific to business functions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in related discipline (i.e. Human Resources, Organization Development, Org Effectiveness, Leadership Development, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, etc.) and 6 years' experience in a related field (i.e. Human Resources, Talent Management, Org Development, etc.). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Excel, and Google Smartsheet.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
  • Ability to interface and influence senior business leaders, lead internal consulting projects and partner effectively with HR Business Partners.
  • Proven ability to create high-quality deliverables and represent concepts through presentations/models/visuals.
  • Able to travel 50%+.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer certification in GROW Coaching, DDI Executive Development Assessment, EQ, Change Style Indicator, DiSC, MBTI, and HBDI; and SPHR or PHR.
  • Certification in Birkman Method, Gallup Strengthsfinders, Hogan Leadership Series and familiarity with Team Performance/Interaction Models, Action Research, Performance Consulting, Needs Analysis.
