Tax Analyst

Overview:

We are looking for a Finance professional to join our Global Tax Team. This position will be responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other compliance reporting requirements for assigned subsidiaries/affiliates of the ISS STOXX Group of Companies.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and filing of tax returns and compliance reporting for subsidiaries/affiliates of the ISS Group of Companies
• Perform reconciliations between GL and tax returns to ensure accuracy
• Assists in providing tax audit support
• Assists in coordinating with tax consultants on tax matters
• Conduct research and assist in interpreting tax regulations, policies, and procedures
• Handles tasks as assigned by immediate manager
• Any ad hoc responsibilities as and when required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 2 years of work experience in General Accounting, preferably in Tax and Audit
• Experience in a major audit firm or multinational organization is an advantage
• Proficiency in IT applications like Excel, Outlook, SAP, NetSuite
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Well organized, thorough and detailed
• Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures, follow through on issues and prioritize effectively
• Highly motivated, able to work independently and with initiative
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines
