Job Description

Schrödinger seeks a Team Executive Business Partner (EBP) to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.
As a member of our Administrative team, you'll play a key role in supporting our Therapeutics Group, using your business savvy and interpersonal skills to stay one step ahead of business needs. We're seeking someone who's excited to make critical contributions to the overall success of our company. This role is based in our NYC headquarters with a hybrid schedule.
Who will love this job:
  • A strategic self-starter looking for a long-term administrative role in an established organization with a supportive and inclusive culture
  • An expert organizer who can juggle multiple priorities with ease and anticipate needs
  • An excellent professional communicator who asks questions, practices common sense, provides timely updates, and treats sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • A collaborative team player who's willing to back up other administrative team members and jump in wherever needed to get the job done
  • A problem solver who can confidently present ideas and methods for process improvement

What you'll do:
  • Provide full administrative support for multiple senior members of our Therapeutics and Clinical teams, including calendar management (Gmail & Google Calendar), detailed national and international travel arrangements (Navan), and expense reporting (Expensify)
  • Strategically partner with the clinical team by maintaining timelines, tracking projects, identifying inefficiencies, and offering suggestions for improvement
  • Back up our Senior Executive Business Partners by stepping in to maintain scheduling, execute events, or host meetings in their absence
  • Proofread, edit, update, and occasionally create slide decks for internal and external presentations
  • Lead project and team meetings, noting action items for follow-up and seeing them through to completion
  • Collaborate with our internal Legal team and outside contractors/consultants to ensure accurate processing of NDAs, consulting agreements, and other time-sensitive documents
  • Update databases to ensure renewals, contracts, and subscriptions are current
  • Proactively coordinate large and small meetings, confirming all necessary needs, including conference room bookings, Zoom/Google Meet links, accurate attendees, meeting agendas/invite attachments, travel/hotel/car bookings, and occasional catering or swag
  • Coordinate appearances at conferences, speaking engagements, workshops, etc., as well as aid in the execution of workshops/summits, team-building events, retreats, strategy sessions, etc.
  • Assist with the onboarding and welcoming of new STG team members, including assistance with first-week meeting scheduling, team introductions, office management, IT, office tours, administrative and facilities requests, and coordinating welcome lunches/dinners/events
  • Submit and track occasional invoices and vendor documentation through Coupa for purchasing needs

What you should have:
  • At least five years' experience successfully supporting multiple executives with competing priorities
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
  • Deep familiarity with Macbooks and G-Suite (Gmail, Drive, GCal, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Understanding of Box, Coupa, Smartsheet, Asana, and/or similar project management software is a plus
  • At least five years of experience in pharma, biotech, biopharma, or therapeutics is a plus

Pay and perks:
Schrödinger understands it's people that make a company great. Because of this, we're prepared to offer a competitive salary, stock options, and a wide range of benefits that include healthcare (with dental and vision), a 401k, pre-tax commuter benefits, a flexible work schedule, and a parental leave program. We have regular catered meals in the office, a company culture that is relaxed but engaged, and over a month of paid vacation time. Our Office Management team also plans a myriad of fun company-wide events. New York is home to our largest office, but we have teams all over the world. Schrödinger is honored to have been included in Crain's New York Best Places to Work, BuiltIn's NYC Best Place to Work, and Newsweek's list of America's 100 Most Loved Workplaces.
Estimated base salary range: $90,000 - $130,000.
