Tech PR Specialist (Boston Site)

As we embark on an ambitious mission to amplify our global presence, we are seeking a visionary PR Specialist to join our Boston team. This role will involve supporting all our extraordinary products within MacPaw's software division, with a primary focus on CleanMyMac, CleanMyMac Business and CleanMy®Phone. This specialist will also play a crucial role in helping expand our international PR efforts.

About Our Product:
CleanMyMac is an all-in-one solution that keeps your Mac in top shape. It clears out megatons of junk, making your computer run as fast as it did on day one. It scans the entire macOS, removes unnecessary files, malware, and frees up gigabytes of space on your Mac.
In this role, you will:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute creative PR campaigns that align with product branding
• Strengthen both MacPaw brand and product brand perception as a leader in Mac control and care by coordinating internal and external communications
• Fully support product releases by planning and pitching PR materials to relevant media outlets
• Conduct detailed analyses of PR campaign metrics and create reports to guide future strategies
• Proactively pitch media to link product brands with broader news narratives and boost visibility
• Monitor and analyze media trends, identify potential reputational risks, and protect brand perception

Skills you'll need to bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in product PR, marketing, or related communications roles
• Exceptional writing skills and the ability to craft clear and compelling messages
• Proven experience managing media relations, event participation, and sponsorships
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on monitoring and optimizing PR metrics
• Familiarity with media platforms and databases (e.g., Muck Rack, Cision, Meltwater)
• Excellent collaboration abilities, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams on communication campaigns

As a plus:

• Experience in the tech industry or with public companies is a major plus
