Your Role and Responsibilities
Summary: IBM Security Software Partners & Integration team is seeking a Technical Enablement Specialist with a unique combination of technical development and partner facing and communication skills. The role is focused on evangelizing enabling and supporting current and future technical ecosystems around our product portfolio which includes QRadar SIEM SOAR Log Insights and EDR Guardium Data Security products Verify IAM and Randori products. The primary customer for this role is 3 ^rd party security product companies and their integration development and product teams. The role enables and supports their efforts in building integrations between their products and ours. This role requires development and public. Loud cloud platform experience with a strong preference for experience with IBM Security products and technology. There is also a focus on supporting some of our strategic open source projects & open platform initiatives including the Open Cybersecurity Alliance and OCSF (Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework).

Team and Mission: IBM Security Software Partnership and Integration team supports the IBM Security product portfolio’s strategic objectives by developing relationships with 3 ^rd party technology providers to expand the capabilities and visibility of our portfolio with customers channel partners and in the industry. This includes creating and managing relationships agreements and facilitating new technical integrations with a large number of security product & cloud companies. Our team leads strategy and execution for 3 ^rd party technology alliances inbound technology license agreements supporting technical integrations and ecosystems and go to market visibility and promotion of these solutions. This specific position is to support new and current ISV ecosystem partners developing Apps and integrations with QRadar and related opportunities.

• Become a technical authority on integrating with our product portfolio to our ISV partners
• Create and support our cloud based development environment for partners.
• Support partners through the lifecycle of evaluating their technical integration options tools available customer use cases unique features for integration submission process troubleshooting through validation.
• Maintain and expand technical enablement materials and web content to support new and existing ecosystems and product integrations.
• Collaborate with partners on the creation of customer facing collateral events and demonstrations including webinars and other speaking opportunities.
• Flexibiliity to support partner calls during EU & USA business hours where majority of our security partners are located. Many of these partners also employ development teams that are based in India who you’d also be supporting.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Software development experience including Python Linux environments and public cloud environments.
• Hands on integration experience with public cloud security capabilities and environments.
• Security domain expertise in SIEM SOAR Data IAM or other security solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communications skills (written verbal) for creating technical articles blogs and presentation content for partners.
• Understanding of the competitive security landscape product categories and capabilities
• Ability to work remotely and flexibly with a variety of team across time zones.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Technical hands-on operational and integration experience with IBM Security products QRadar SIEM & SOAR Guardium Data security Verify IAM Security and other non-IBM security products.
• Development experience with Cloud Linux OpenShift container agent and network based solutions.
• Hands on development & integration experience with AWS and IBM Cloud
