Your Role and Responsibilities: as a Senior IMS developer you will be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of the IMS product on the z/OS platform. You will lead work on the design coding and testing of features that enhance the functionality and performance of IMS addressing both current and future client needs. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Support Performance and System Verification to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities: as a Senior IMS developer you will be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of the IMS product on the z/OS platform. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Support Performance and System Verification to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 12 – 15 years in application development DevOps or performance management.
- 5+ years of experience as a technical lead in translating customer/client requirements into high leveld Designs by partnering with stakeholders (technical executives product owners product managers designers and other teams).
- Ability to design scalable reliable and secure infrastructure architectures that support DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with micro-services architecture — ways to deploy manage and scale services in a production environment.
- Solid (5+ yrs) experience in providing technical direction to the development team through mentoring coaching and guidance to team members on technical specifications architectures designs coding standards and best practices.
- 3+ Hands on experience in working with clients customer facing and support teams in handling customer problems and escalations.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proficient in developing products and offering on Linux/Unix based systems.
- Hands-on with application performance (test analysis tuning optimization and tools/utilities).
- In-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI or Bamboo.
