The Opportunity

As a Technical Program Manager at Beyond Identity, you will be integral to the success of our mission; to protect the world’s access to digital assets. You will work with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure delivery of key initiatives, help define success metrics, and evangelize and develop lean/agile behaviors. The candidate will be results oriented, passionate about the improvement of the user experience, and a critical and strategic thinker.  The candidate will be highly organized, will have an ability to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines, and will be a team-player and team-builder who will be able to make meaningful and long-lasting connections with others.

This position is hybrid and requires a regular presence at our New York City office a few days each week.

Responsibilities

  • Enable agile teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced team members
  • Define project schedules and scope while balancing with timely and regular value deliveries, and organizing and leading working and project status meetings
  • Define clear agile project reporting metrics that can be used to build realistic timelines and assess the continuous health of agile delivery streams
  • Support the product owner in managing communications with stakeholders, managing customer’s expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system
  • Facilitate the agile program processes and their execution, escalate impediments, manage risk, and help drive program-level continuous improvement
  • Provide hands-on guidance and training to individual teams and verticals on technical practices and all aspects of Agile/Lean, including planning and estimation, daily meetings, team collaboration, tracking progress, and retrospectives

Requirements

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience is required
  • 5+ yrs of demonstrated experience using relevant agile planning tools to build data driven project plans and process improvement initiatives. 
  • 5+ yrs of demonstrated experience using relevant Business Intelligence tools to support data driven initiatives. 
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Outstanding organizational skills, especially the ability to prioritize; must be able to focus on the project’s critical components and ignore unnecessary or distracting work
  • Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level. You must be able to speak to both leadership about overall progress, and to engineering teams about schedules and estimations.
  • A strong familiarity with various Agile and Scrum elements, including Agile planning and Agile project management with Scrum.
  • Experience with SaaS and endpoint solutions

Pluses:

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience deriving metrics, release metrics, agile metrics

Beyond Identity, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For Applicants in New York, NY, the salary range is $160K - $185K per year + equity+benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states.
