Technical Program Manager, Android Ecosystem

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management, motivating cross-functional projects across multiple organizations.
• Experience with software or hardware platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing consumer (e.g., mobile OEM/System-on-Chip), enterprise (e.g., App/Cloud) integration, Operating System development, or developer platform software.
• Experience building a stakeholder management network and relationships across various levels of the stakeholder teams for providing quality service operations.
• Experience developing and implementing strategic programs.
• Experience with operating system bring-up, system-on-chip bring-up, ARM, kernel development/management.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence within a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Own standardizing simplicity of Android Operating System adoption and driving architectural change implementation across the ecosystem.
• Align engineering on a multi-year program strategy accounting for all critical project deliverables.
• Perform technical data analysis issues to recommend solutions and represent the team in cross-functional leadership forums for resolution.
• Represent technical teams in both internal and external discussions with platform teams, and hardware partners.
• Work with teams like Android Engineering, Android Release, other Google-wide Product Engineering teams, external third-party vendors, and Mobile OEM Partners, and more locally and remotely.
