ABOUT THE POSITION
Although we're an apparel and footwear-focused company, technology is central to everything we do. Columbia Sportswear's Digital Technology (CDT) group enables an IT infrastructure and applications across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500+ geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.
As a Technical Resilience Manager, you will be supporting C DT teams by leading the design, implementation, and communication of disaster recovery processes . You will develop and deploy trainin g, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization . You will d evelop strategies to ensure disaster recovery and resiliency planning is integrated into new and existing technology solutions . As a subject matter expert, you will provide direction to teams on best practice s and industry standards . You will lead the planning and execution of technology recovery test ing across CDT .
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Facilitates the overall Disaster Recovery governance framework.
- Ensures Disaster Recovery plans are in place, meeting the objectives tested periodically in coordination with application teams.
- Maintain and orchestrate a library of recovery support documentation, emergency response documentation, and exercise (testing) documentation.
- Design, coordinate and execute annual test exercises.
- Conduct retrospectives and coordinate with application teams to implement findings.
- Assist Incident Management teams during service disruption events and work across the appropriate technical teams to implement any changes required to improve recovery and resilience.
- Participates in internal and external audits related to the organization's ability to recover from a disaster.
- Educate , train, and evangelize IT members in practices of technology risk disaster recovery planning.

YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience .
- 8 + years of hands-on Business Continuity and/or IT Disaster Recovery experience .
- Relevant Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Risk or Audit certifications preferred. (One or more certifications MBCP, CBCP, ABCP, CRISC, CISA) .
- Experience in performing Business Continu ity Audits or Experience in managing and coordinating the response to a major, unplanned disruptive event that required activation of the BC/DR/Incident or Crisis Management Plan .
- Strong interpersonal skills and significant influencing abilities .
- Ability to work independently, effectively manage competing demands and priorities.
- Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high stress situations.
- Scrum Master Certification is a plus .
- Previous Product Management experience is a plus .
- Agile product lifecycle experience preferred .
- General knowledge of Agile development methodologies .
