Dietetic Technician Position Summary
Assists the Registered Dietitians in providing Medical Nutrition Therapy. Responsible for, under the direction of RD, patient contact, nutrition care, patient specific menu management, data collection and communication of patient needs. Assists with the departmental process improvement program. Utilizes developmentally appropriate approach to patient care.  Dietetic Technician Position Requirements Education- Associate degree as a Dietetic Technician - Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standard or Bachelor of Science with emphasis in Human Nutrition. Must participate in in-service training on job-related subjects.
- Registered Dietetic Technician by Commission on Dietetic Registration and one year or more in hospital food service preferred.

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.Â
