Role Purpose

Quality Engineering & Testing Transformation Consultant is a pivotal role within the Application Engineering & DevOps theme responsible for client's Quality Engineering & Testing transformation initiatives aligned with application engineering & digital roadmap.

Experience: 12 to 15 Years

Location: - Hyderabad

Role & Responsibilities:

Must Have:

• Should be between 12 to 15 years of experience on software test automation
• Mandatory experience of 12+ years in automation
• An ability to work with clients in a consultative way; helping them derive quality objectives from IT objectives aligned with business roadmap.
• Ability to create a framework to measure current baseline, plan future state and lays down the roadmap and plan to achieve goals with milestones associated with business value and cost benefits.
• Introducing modern testing practices aimed at increasing velocity such continuous testing, in-sprint automation, service virtualization, shift-left.
• Deep hands-on and coding skills with Selenium web-driver / BDD / JavaScript/ Mobile. Senior Profiles should have framework development experience and write reusable components with required programming language on any platforms like web, mobile, and desktop.
• Must & should have good experience in API automation using Rest Assured, Karate etc.
• Experience in in-sprint Automation in agile (BDD/Cucumber, Spec flow, Serenity)
• Experience in Database validations such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
• Experience in Maven, GitHub, RabbitMQ, Openshift and TestNG.
• Experience in continuous test automation using Jenkins/ADO/XL Deploy/Gherkins.
• Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives.
• Experience in Automation Life Cycle activities like Feasibility, Estimation, Executing PoCs etc.,
• Experience in Supporting Sales team for RPF's , Designing Frameworks, Selecting Tools, Strategies

Collaborating Stakeholders, Implementing Solutions, Ensuring Test Coverage, Maintaining Scripts, Test Performance Optimization, Training and Mentoring.

Experience in automation maturity assessment, Consulting and test data automation.

Able to debug and give the solution for the given practical problem

Ability to own and drive delivery in an independent manner

In Requirement & Design - Ensure error free testing solutions, minimum process exceptions, 100% SLA compliance.

Execution and Reporting - Testing efficiency & quality, On-Time Delivery, Troubleshoot queries within TAT, CSAT score.

Strong on programming logic and problem-solving capability

Good to have manual testing experience on the web application

Good communication skill for team and Stakeholder Interaction

Leveraging Technology - Knowledge of current and upcoming technology (automation, tools and systems) to build efficiencies and effectiveness in own function/ Client organization - Competent

Process Excellence - Ability to follow the standards and norms to produce consistent results, provide effective control and reduction of risk - Expert

Technical knowledge - knowledge of various testing tools, automation tools, customization and its implementation at the client site Expert

Instrumental in understanding the test requirements and test case design of the product Test planning, Model based testing, peer review, setting up criteria, scope/out of scope, involve in UAT, Automation test life cycle.

To design and execute the automation framework and reporting Develop & automate scenarios tests, use cases, defect raised, defect reporting, no instance of rejection/slippage, Design and Timely release of test status dashboard trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned stakeholders.

Should be ready to work out of Wipro premises or Customer Premises at least 3 days a week

Nice To have:

• Knowledge in AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible / Chef , Docker, Mongo DB, Java script, Spring Boot, Nexus / Jfrog etc&
• Experience in enabling in-sprint automation for non-functional testing such as Performance (JMeter), Accessibility (Jaws), Visual (Applitools)
• Knowledge of code quality tools like Sonar, Jacoco, SeaLights
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and view on its applicability to Testing
