Technology Business Systems Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Consultant.

In this role, you will:

• Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
• Review and evaluate moderately complex technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet-based solutions
• Present recommendations for resolving business problems
• Exercise some independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedules
• Provide information about communication between business and technology teams
• Work with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document results

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

• Strong Data Analysis and Automation skills
• Well versed in Alteryx and development of medium to complex Alteryx workflows
• Strong Data Querying experience using SQL from different databases.
• Experience in working with different environments like UAT, PROD & PROD Parallel
• Good to have exposure on Axiom Regulatory Reporting Tool, Power BI
• Good Communication skills
• BE/B. Tech/BS/BA or higher in Computer Technology or Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business

Job Expectations:

• Strong Business Systems Data experience, Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Strong experience in Alteryx and related Automation tools.
• Strong SQL hand-on experience required.
• Participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
• Contribute to the automation of financial reports and validation of those using Alteryx.
• Participate in development and testing activities using Alteryx and related technical stack.
• Perform Data level Validations, Analysis, and data insights.
• Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.
• Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
• Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems.
• Act as an internal consultant within Finance technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
• Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables
• Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams
• Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design
