Job Description
Enhance the user experience and user satisfaction when interacting with the applications by improving the interface design and aesthetics, the usability best practices and accessibility. Ensure application changes are in line with the mock-ups and company guidelines before setting them to “done”.
Main responsibilities:
- Work with product teams, integrated with their sprints, making sure members of the UX/UI competency know what is needed for the next sprint (i.e. in each sprint he/she works on things needed for future sprints)
- For each product team, test items in development (in ST environments) and raise bugs if what has been developed is not matching what was designed in the mock-ups, prioritise those items with the product owner
- Raise UI/UX issues & improvements in the backlog of each product team
- Safety net / quality gate in terms of UX / UI, make sure no user interface changes get to the end of sprint demo without his approval / consent
- Participate in roadmaps for each product suggesting UX/UI changes
- Participate of setting the design standards, documentation and principles for the UI and UX components used in the applications
- Responsible for design, prototyping and testing and implementation review
- Evaluate new tools, changes to the process, etc. that might help with any of the above and / or increase our productivity
- Participate in the evaluation of new controls and 3rd party UI libraries
- Help with sales, marketing and ad-hoc requests
- As a central resource (i.e. not allocated to a particular product), coordinate efforts between products to make sure we are efficient
- Participate in company and inter-company forums on UI/UX matters
- Provide training to other teams on UI/UX (general usability, testing, common mistakes, tips & tricks, etc.)

Qualifications
- Basic working knowledge in an agile/scrum development process.
- Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team with support of more experience designers.
- Basic experience using wire-framing tools, storyboards and user flows.
- Understanding of UX design best practices to design solutions across multiple platforms (desktop, tablet, phone, etc.).
- Understanding of the latest UI/UX design and technology trends and their role in a commercial environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
