Test Engineer

What you'll do:

The primary responsibility of the Test Engineer is to define, document, deploy and optimize the product functional test requirement and will ensure the most reliable, efficient and productive methods. Continuously improve the test processes through thorough analysis and instituting corrective & preventive actions. Feedback findings to PIE & relevant functions of any findings not related to the mentioned test requirement. Define maintenance program to ensure all the testers are always available and will perform at their best

• Define and or develop test processes and document this process so that manufacturing team have guidance. Expected documents are SOP's & Test programs & Checklists.

• Train manufacturing team to make sure the process is understood.

• Continuously improve the test processes by analyzing the test defects, identify process waste and institute corrective & preventive actions.

• Develop a maintenance program for the testers and related fixtures that will ensure all testers will be available and will perform their best to meet the desired efficiency

• Plan and execute corrective, preventive, predictive maintenance activities for the Testers

• Set-up Test Related Equipment, qualify it & deploy to operations.

• Support PROLaunch activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering is required
• Minimum 5 years experience as Test Engineer in an electronics/electrical environment is preferred
• In-Depth knowledge on problem solving tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership skills; Ability to drive results even as an individual contributor
• Ability to work in teams and collaboratively to achieve solutions to complex problems
