Director of Hardware Test Engineering

What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is looking for a highly motivated, highly dedicated intern interested in applying creativity and a broad skill set toward writing framework and sequence software for large-scale hardware test solutions. You will grow your experience developing Python code in a Linux environment - and deploy these solutions to production facilities.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Work on the design, implementation, and testing of new test infrastructure in a modern factory environment

• Be responsible for Automation Test Sequence development on key production test stations

• Perform experiments and gather data to push the limits of optical measurement technology

• Support of real-time management and remote administration of deployed test solutions

• Collaborate cross-functionally and globally with hardware and software engineering teams to define specifications, features, and APIs

• Participate in design and code reviews

Requirements

• Familiarity with Python and Linux

• Experience with optical and/or thermal image processing

• Experience with mechatronics and systems integration a plus

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $25 to $30. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable.
