Job Description
Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Works under the supervision of the Program Executive Office, Command Control Communications - Tactical (PEO C3T) Technical Management Division supervisory engineer. Responsible for providing direction, coordination, and control of System of Systems (SoS) integration and testing.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Test and Evaluation Certification within 60 months of entrance on duty.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year or specialized experience which includes: 1) Managing developmental and operational Test and Evaluation (T&E) events within the organization as well as with other Integrated Planning Teams; 2) Developing and coordinating Test and Evaluation documents such as: test plans, test reports, test strategies, and/or T&E Master Plans; 3) Preparing briefings to upper management on test strategies, results or test risk; and 4) Planning and leading safety and integration testing of mounted systems.
This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level NH-02 (GS-11) position in the federal service.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
