As part of our Louisville, Catalyst Operations Team you will be responsible for change management to bring the selection, qualification, and management of toll manufacturers in North America to a higher level of maturity. You will also be responsible for the Management of an interdisciplinary team responsible for the relationship building and management of toll manufacturers within Clariant's production network.
Responsibilities
- You will manage our End-to-End responsibilities for all tolling activities in North America including production, quality, logistics, and supply chain.
- Responsible for ensuring the specification and parameters critical to quality, aligning of those internally with the quality team and with toll manufacturers.
- Provides input to procurement for contract negotiation and contract management in cases of deviations (quality, safety, yields, rates, inventory) and supports claims against tollers.
- You will manage production at toll manufacturers within the NORAM region and is responsible for toller performance management.
- Accountable and responsible for tollers inventories and other activities while enforcing work instructions for toller management
- Responsible for BOM builds, order management, material bookings and production reporting at the tollers.
- Ensures the compliance of the MOC process at tollers and responsible for RCAs related to tolling operations including QNS
- You will ensure compliance with Clariant policies regarding safety and environmental aspects, esp. GL 11
- Executes audits (compliance, safety, quality), and drives improvement measures to mitigate deviations
- Drives continuous improvement projects in coordinating internal stakeholders and tollers, strives for state-of-the-art toller management within Clariant
- Performs risk analysis for process changes and ensure the implementation of new products at tollers coordinating with the transfer teams, supply chain, and logistics.
Requirements
- Seeking an individual with a Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent Degree in related discipline.
- You should have 5 or more years of experience in production or product development (within the Chemical industry is desired but not required).
- Experience in project management along with experience in managing cross-functional teams highly desired.
- Seeking the experience/and or ability to motivate teams to execute the projects at highest quality standards in a challenging environment.
- You should have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across many different levels and to all stakeholders internally and externally (previous experience working with toll manufacturers is a plus).
- Ability to Focus on high quality and adherence to on time delivery of products.
- Previous experience with SAP is a plus.
