Training Program Specialist

A client on ours is seeking an exceptional communicator and facilitator to join the training team as a Training Program Specialist. Candidates must be fast learners who are personable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable in ambiguous environments.

This opportunity is located on site at the Tampa location, and is not able to be done remotely.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and mentor 10-20 new hires in a classroom setting on weekly basis

• Operate as a technical Subject Matter Expert and answer questions with accuracy and insight

• Follow program vision and instructions accurately and enthusiastically

• Coordinate class schedules and track attendance and work quality

• Conduct quality assurance audits and provide direct feedback on behavior and performance

• Handle customer escalations and document exceptions for training purposes

• Own various administrative functions including implementation and reporting

• At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a corporate or business setting

• Ability to synthesize technical information and make it digestible for others

• Self-starter with a track record of delivering results with minimal instruction

• Team player with low ego

• Ability to initiate hard conversations and handle conflict

• Highly organized with the ability to independently prioritize

• Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and reliable

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working cross-functionally and cross-locationally

• High proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint

• Data analysis or management experience a plus

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Bachelor's degree in Learning, Business, Education or related field preferred
