- Job Details
- Cardiac ICU trained RN competent to care for both Cardiac Medical ICU patients and Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery ICU patients.
- Must be trained on Impella and NxStage.
- 1:2 ratio including patients with Impellas and NxStage.
- Job Requirements
- Current Indiana RN license required.
- Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
- Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required to be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter. Minimum 80% score. Only 2 attempts allowed.
- Completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years thereafter in specialty. Minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed.
- Completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
- HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics. Completed within a year of start updated yearly. Minimum 80% score. Only 2 attempts allowed.
- Additional Details
- Must be AHA certified.
