    Job Details
  • L&D nurses needed for Nights at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in Northern Nevada.
  • Must be able to work LDRP.
  • Located in the mountains of north central Nevada.
    Job Requirements
  • MUST have LDRP experience.
  • Ability to function in L&D, PP, and Sick-Baby Nursery.
  • 1 year of experience in true LDRP is acceptable.
  • First time travelers are welcome.
    Schedule Information
  • 3-12 hour shifts, start time 7-7:30 AM, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Modified Self Schedule; management will try to accommodate scheduling requests.
  • Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend (EOW).
  • Holiday Requirements: May be asked to participate in Holiday Rotation.
  • No call or standby requirement.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit Specific Orientation: 1 day of General orientation and 1-2 shifts on unit with preceptor.
    Additional Details
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (in NV RN cannot place Cytotec without Advanced FHM). STABLE preferred.
  • Common diagnoses include low-risk labor, antepartum testing, postpartum couplets, and well nursery.
