Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team in Cumming, Georgia. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the health and well-being of patients undergoing medical and surgical treatments. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, post-surgical care, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Participate in patient rounds, case conferences, and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and questions.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Assist with medical procedures and surgeries as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.
- Required Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Proficiency in Cerner.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
