Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Location: Vallejo, CA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (12x3) – 12-hour shifts, 3 nights per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients’ heart rhythms and vital signs via telemetry equipment.
• Assess and evaluate patients’ health conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, ensuring safe and accurate administration.
• Provide direct patient care and educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any changes in patients' conditions or alarms.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a safe and effective work environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education to enhance nursing knowledge and skills.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical and stressful situations.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in California.
• At least 1 years of recent experience in Telemetry nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (12x3 schedule).
