- Certification Details
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred).
- TNCC strongly preferred.
- Job Details
- ED RN Days/Eves/Nights Rotate, EOW & EOH – 36hrs.
- Traveler will be expected to Rotate to our New Observation Unit when requested.
- Unit Name: Emergency Department.
- Brief Unit Description: 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area.
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years Emergency Nursing experience.
- Skill Sets Required: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.
- Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4.
- Patient Population: All.
- Bed Count: 65.
- Census: 230 visits/day.
- EMR (Charting System): EPIC – ASAP.
- Floating Required: Yes.
- Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency: Low. Night position does not rotate.
- Job Requirements
- 2 years Emergency Nursing experience.
