    Job Details
  • Care of emergency patients, age: birth to death, trauma, cardiac, respiratory, surgical, pediatric, stroke, general medical.
  • Triage using ESI, assessment and identification of immediate needs, IV, cardiac monitoring, blood draw, administer medications, trauma resuscitation, codes, patient teaching.
  • Equipment utilized: Cerner for charting, paper flowsheet for stroke, codes, trauma, level one, ranger, cardiac monitor, defibrillator, Omnicell.
  • Prefer 2 years ED nursing with travel experience but will consider other based on resume/references.
    Job Requirements
  • Active DE License required
  • BLS (AHA Only) required
  • ACLS (AHA Only) required
  • TNCC required
  • NIHSS required
  • 2 Years ED experience required
    Schedule Information
  • 3-12 hour shifts based on needs of the department.
  • Usually either mid-shift 11-11 or 1-1 OR 7p-7a shift.
  • Weekends required, every other or every third based on needs of the department.
  • No call time required, ED does not require working alone.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Navy Blue scrubs, non slip shoes required.
  • First day with educator - no exceptions - based on availability and 2-12 hour shifts with preceptor on the unit.
