Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)

Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $1964.22 - $2152.29
PT- outpatient needed asap for 13 weeks
8 hours a day/ 5 days a week
No travel is expected for this position.
Degree in Physical Therapy.
Continuing Education courses.
Must hold active license or plan to test in the near future to hold license as a Physical Therapist in the state in which you intend to work.
The physical therapist implements patient rehabilitation programs to help improve patient mobility, function, and strength.
Hold license as a Physical Therapist in the state in which you intend to work
Maintain and update PT skills and certifications as necessary
Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
Utilize Electronic Medical Record to complete evaluations, reports and discharge summaries for patient files
Guide & monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up
Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
Communicate with physicians and other persons to insure quality patient care
Correspond with co-workers & other offices via phone, fax & email
Be responsible for accurate patient chart documentation & follow-up re: prescriptions, test results, authorizations etc.
Make sure patients are comfortable and answer questions when necessary.
Work closely with the front office staff regarding scheduling and patient follow up.
Have computer skills necessary to complete job requirements i.e. typing, Word, Internet, EMR, etc.
Be able to make independent decisions regarding patient care

Licenses: PT(Compact Accepted)
SSN Required
DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in last 1 year
No travel is expected for this position.
Degree in Physical Therapy.

Continuing Education courses.
