Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Canton GA (No Local Candidates within 50 miles)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM, rotating day off (4 - 10-hour shifts)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and certified Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract position in our Diagnostic Radiology department. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience within the specialty and be proficient in performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. This position requires a commitment to a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week with a day off each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including X-rays, under the direction of physicians.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
- Follow established protocols and adjust techniques as necessary for accurate imaging results.
- Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines, ensuring minimal exposure to patients and staff.
- Provide high-quality images for diagnostic purposes in a fast-paced environment.
- Work closely with radiologists to assist in interpreting imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure proper care, maintenance, and cleanliness of radiologic equipment.
- Deliver exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with patients to ease anxiety and ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
- Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT - Radiology Tech).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required).
- In-depth knowledge of diagnostic radiology and imaging techniques.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and infection control.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate and professional attitude toward patients.
Quick Med Staffing Job ID #2025-81908. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
