    Job Details
  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Speech Therapist for a travel assignment.
  • The right candidate will have 3+ years of experience and at least 2 years of Acute Care or/and Inpatient Rehab.
    Job Requirements
  • Hold an active BLS and CA license.
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Must have 2 years of acute experience.
  • Experience with ortho, neuro, and cardiac is required.
  • ICU experience preferred.
    Schedule Information
  • 8 hr shifts, hours are varied, starting at 6:30am with a 30 min lunch break.
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday or Sunday, 2 weekend days in a 4 week schedule.
  • Schedule made by staffing captain.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Float between units of hospital and to acute rehab.
  • 1 day hospital orientation and then 2-3 days of unit orientation.
    Additional Details
  • BLS, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification).
  • Unit: Rehab Therapies, Cardiac Rehab.
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: spinal cord injuries, TBI, stroke, cardiac rehab, ortho, etc.
  • Spanish speaking candidates preferred.
