Job Overview

The Treasury Exception Associate of AvidXchange will be responsible for tasks related to daily payment processing, audit and follow up on payments on behalf of our clients. This includes achieving assigned metrics for the number of payments successfully processed on a daily basis while maintaining accuracy. They will also serve as a liaison with other departments, maintain open and concise communication with regards to payment status, and any other inquiries related to Treasury operations. Other additional duties as assigned based on business need. This is a fast-paced and challenging opportunity to be part of a quickly growing section of our organization.

Job Responsibilities

Learn multiple work types to execute and support the execution of payments• Perform e-payment processing by multiple payment modalities• Assist payment processing by handling any exceptions not able to be processed by Payment Execution• Review expedited check requests and audit against guidelines and make final determination for approval or destroy• Execute approved expedited check requests in partnership with check printing teammates• Research payments that have not been completed successfully for resolution • Actively review, analyze, and interpret personal performance measures and Key Performance Indicators• Consistently meet or exceed targets for the work type you are assigned • Demonstrate our Core Values in all interactions

Required Expereince Qualifications and Skills• 0-2+ years professional experience• Basic mathematic and analytical skills• Proficient customer service and interpersonal skills• Ability to navigate and use Microsoft Office Suite and other internal systems• Adaptive and receptive to frequent process and work type changes• Self-motivated and self-disciplined with a dedicated work ethic• Detail oriented with proficient verbal and written communication skills• Problem solving and critical thinking skills • Strong desire and aptitude to learn and question current processes

Preferred Experience Qualifications, and Skills

2-3+ years professional experience• Experience with Salesforce desired• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment• Willingness to learn the business and develop the skills necessary to advance• Typically, does not require advanced education and requires little to no prior experience.
