Rockwell is hosting an onsite job fair at our Twinsburg plant!

Dates: Tuesday, April 4 & Wednesday, April 5, 2023

Time:

10:00am - 1:00pm

4:00pm - 7:00pm

- We will be running plant tours every 30 minutes

The job fair will consist of onsite interviews for hourly manufacturing and production roles.

Open Positions:

Material Handler $18 an hour

Assembler $18 an hour

Machine Operator $18 an hour

Weekend only shift: $19.50

Schedules:

Weekend only shift: (Saturday & Sunday) 6:30AM - 6:30PM, plus a 15% shift premium

1st shift: (Mon - Fri)6:30am - 3:00pm (limited roles)

2nd shift: (Mon - Fri) 2:30pm - 11:00pm, plus a 10% shift premium

3rd shift: (Sun- Thu) 10:30pm - 7:00am, plus a 10% shift premium

Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 20 hours of overtime/week. Actual overtime hours may vary.

Minimum Qualifications for ALL roles:

• A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 1 year of verified related experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience

Job Descriptions

Material Handler

Job Summary:

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Uses documented work instructions and manufacturing execution systems for receiving, picking or delivering parts. Assignments and processes are semi-routine in nature. Works with little direction and has ability to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles to load, unload and transfer materials. Assembles product as required, delivers material to the production area, picks up waste, and delivers finished product on a scheduled basis following a set route. May also assist with changeover, provide tools and materials, and give any additional help needed to maintain standard work and keep the flow going.

Assembler

Job Summary:

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component

installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding

tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

This position performs repetitive assembly of pre-engineered electro-mechanical equipment control modules. Working from hard copy and electronic assembly documentation and instructions, the position follows established sequencing of hardware and wiring installations using predefined tools and fixtures. The position takes direction from manufacturing team leads in assigned workstations, follows instructions provided by a Tester to perform rework of product test anomalies and performs general preparation prior to product shipment. Position working environment is standardized assembly with paced productivity requirements. Working with continuous leadership in a production environment, the position is held to the highest standards in, and compliance with, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, procedures, policies, and metrics. This position will also provide manufacturing order support including engraving, labels, and reports.

Machine Operator

Job Summary:

Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the

company's product. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform

production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Uses documented work instructions with schematics and manufacturing execution systems on semi-routine assignments at a variety of workstations. Works with little direction and uses judgment to recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.

This position works with Surface Mount Technologies and other electronically-controlled processes, components and full Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts for final product creation. The ability to interact with machines, select solder, wave solder, and conformal coat and set up and operate multiple machines and workstations at once is crucial to the role. Acting as an SMT Operator, pick parts, set up jobs per pic list, running the lines which requires 5 pieces of equipment at once, first line of inspection for all boards to ensure they are being built properly, work with techs and team leads to troubleshoot equipment failures and canning and link information to jobs.

This position prepares reels and feeders for use on surface mount technology (SMT) machines; counts materials and moves to production line, burns firmware programs into electronic components using programming machines, creates and applies labels onto PCBs (manually and/or automated), makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to print specifications and operates optical inspection machine and performs visual classification and repair of rejected boards.
