As a result, the prestigious VA Orlando Healthcare System veteran population is increasing, and we are seeking board-certified/board-eligible Urologists for its 5-star healthcare system and its expanding numbers of community-based Outpatient clinics (CBOC) and locations throughout central Florida.

The Urology Department at the Orlando VA Sunshine Healthcare System is a well-established trained staff seeking a physician with advanced skills in general urologic surgery.

  • Provide a variety of services including pre-operative patient exam and assessment and performs all aspects of Adult Urological Surgery including treatment of lesions, biopsies, urological laser procedures, enucleating, stent insertion, prostate, penile and renal surgery.
  • Perform urology-related direct patient care in all functional areas of the OR, ICU, ward, and clinic settings as needed, to include on-call coverage.
  • Access to all advanced technology -- we provide services with state-of-the-art advanced technology, using surgical robotics innovative devices, such as the da Vinci surgical system.

The VA Orlando Healthcare System provides an excellent compensation and benefits package commensurate with qualifications and experience. Unrestricted licensure in any State and US citizenship is required.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50 55 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year, and possible 5-day paid absence for CME)
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
