Reports ToSenior UX Applications Manager
Job Description- Work closely with product managers, developers, fellow designers and customers to translate business requirements into intuitive interface solutions for upcoming releases
- Redefine the user experience direction for existing products
- Develop process flows, wire frames and mockups with accompanying interaction rules
- Help plan, coordinate and conduct user research, customer validation, and usability testing sessions
- Work with cross disciplinary teams to ensure team members understand the design and how it translates the requirements into an effective user interface
- Effectively present and persuasively convey design solutions to team members and executive management
Qualifications and Experience
- 3-5 years experience in user interface and interaction design
- BA/BS Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors or related field of study. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record in defining the user experience for web and mobile applications
- Excellent interpersonal communication, brainstorming and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders from business, marketing and engineering teams
- Able to strike a balance between tactical problem solving goals and strategic, long-term solutions
