Allegion is looking for a passionate VAVE Leader to work as part of a highly engaged small team within a global organization of 12,000+ employees, representing 30+ brands (including Schlage, Von Duprin and LCN) focused on safety, security and access management. You'll work on solutions that will enable seamless access and help keep you and your loved ones safe and secure where they work, live and thrive.

What you'll do:

Responsible for leading VAVE ideation, strategy, planning, & execution of the Exits and Accessories product categories. Lead international engineers and/or engineers on the local Product Lifecycle Engineering Team to identify feasible near- and long-term value engineering projects and implement those projects to achieve set targets. This position collaborates with the Product Lifecycle Engineering Manager, Site Supply Manager, and other business stakeholders for project proposals, approvals, awareness of other cost savings activities and business objectives, and monthly reporting of results and pipeline status.

What we're looking for:

A self-starter able to serve as technical lead on multiple projects, assess risks, and act with a sense of urgency. A candidate capable of effectively motivating and influencing individual contributors without authority. Someone able to act as project manager and/or the primary resource when needed on complex VAVE projects. Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly report status and articulate ideas and technical concepts.
