RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use Tableau to facilitate operations and support various software.
• Plan the deployment and installation of Tableau software within on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain application to be highly secure, resilient, and scalable for a multi-tenant, shared platform.
• Monitor the performance and functionality of the application to satisfy business requirements and make recommendations to enable the highest possible application performance.
• Engage with consumers to respond to their daily requirements for platform onboarding, content migrations, report building, and performance troubleshooting.
• Investigate complex server and software issues, perform server maintenance, monitor server performance, and communicate with the 3rd party software vendor to resolve vulnerabilities and bugs inherent with the software.
• Design and develop architectures to scalable application environments.
• Design and develop production ready software environments using web, cloud and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, or CI/CD cloud deployment.
• Extract and analyze data using BI and data transformation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL Server Management Studio, and Toad Data Point.
• Utilize a variety of relational database types such as Oracle and SQL Server.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related; and
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
• Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
• Designing and developing architectures to scalable application environments;
• Designing and developing production ready software environments using web, cloud and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, or CI/CD cloud deployment;
• Extracting and analyzing data using BI and data transformation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL Server Management Studio, and Toad Data Point; and,
• Utilizing a variety of relational database types such as Oracle and SQL Server.
