Marshfield Network Region of Sanford Health is seeking a Vice President of Medical Affairs – Hospital Medical Director for the West Region supporting the Eau Claire, Rice Lake, and Ladysmith campuses. This individual will work collaboratively with a President dyad partner, as well as with other members of the system and local leadership teams to carry out the mission, vision, and values of the Sanford Health and Marshfield Clinic. The VPMA will serve as the Hospital Medical Director for the represented Marshfield Medical Center facilities and provide medical director oversight to multiple assigned inpatient and outpatient service lines and medical specialties within the regions assigned. The VPMA will have direct oversight, for hospital-based specialties within the regions. The position will be .9 FTE administrative and .1 FTE clinical.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
  • Leadership experience. Demonstrated understanding of healthcare and medical economics in managed healthcare and evidence of applying this knowledge in day-to-day activities.
  • Board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Medical Specialties (AOBMS).
