Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to assist in creating and leading our operational strategy and execution as the company expands into adding drywall services for commercial and multifamily projects. This pivotal role will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with our overall business goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in operations management, project management, and process improvement. This position requires a strategic thinker with the ability to negotiate and foster business development opportunities while driving operational excellence. Responsibilities • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's vision and goals. • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and efficiency across all departments. • Oversee project management initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of projects within scope and budget. • Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize operations and reduce costs. • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and partners to maximize value. • Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate strategic plans that support business growth. • Manage the operations team by providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training and development programs for staff. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred. • Proven experience in senior leadership roles within operations management or a similar capacity. • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery. • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). • Exceptional negotiation skills with experience in contract management. • Excellent strategic planning abilities with a focus on business development. • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
