Who we're looking for…
As the VP of Product and a member of the executive team at BombBomb, your primary objective will be to lead and oversee product strategy, development, design and execution. You will be responsible for defining and implementing the vision for our product portfolio, driving innovation, and delivering world-class experiences that exceed our customers' expectations.
Essential Functions:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product strategy aligned with the company's goals and mission. Drive a long-term vision for the product roadmap that supports growth, scalability, and sustainable customer engagement. Make well-informed trade-offs and prioritize features based on customer impact and business value. Hands on product management.
- Product-Led Growth: Champion a product-led approach to fuel the company's expansion. Identify growth opportunities, design strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and monetization through continuous improvement and iteration of products and features.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product team. Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration within the team.
- Customer Experience: Understand customer needs, pain points, and desires to create exceptional user journeys that exceed expectations and foster customer loyalty.Â
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and other teams to ensure a seamless product development process from ideation to launch. Foster a collaborative culture that drives innovation and excellence.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and insights to make informed product decisions. Analyze product performance, user behavior, and market trends to optimize features and drive key metrics.
- User Research and Testing: Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform product improvements and validate hypotheses. Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify pain points and opportunities for enhancing the customer experience.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life. Monitor product performance post-launch and iterate to achieve product-market fit and growth targets.
- Competitive Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings. Identify opportunities for differentiation and continuously refine our value proposition.
What you will do…
- Develop and lead product strategy for BombBomb’s suite of products, including hands-on product management duties.
- Define and execute the product vision and roadmap in alignment with company goals and market demands.
- Have empathy and understanding of customer needs and requirements.
- Strong technical proficiency and effectiveness working with engineers.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify market opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Work closely with internal teams to prioritize features, manage product development cycles, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
- Lead product management and design / UX teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a hands-on product manager to run your own engineering and design triad(s).
- Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to iterate on product features and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations on product strategy, investment priorities, and business opportunities.
- Deliver, innovate and grow the product portfolio with user-centric experiences in close collaboration with UX designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Complete ownership of release schedule & ongoing prioritization.

Our ideal candidate will be or have…
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling software products in a fast-paced, agile environment; 4 years in a senior role at a growth technology company.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to work with, inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Player-Coach experience leading teams while managing your own product triad(s)
- Willingness to make tactical work prioritization decisions while incrementally building out the strategic product management function.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights and customer needs into actionable product strategies.
- Ability to systematize processes at a high-level while getting involved in projects at the ground-level.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to think through and communicate requirements around complex edge cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and build consensus across the organization.
- Deep understanding of SaaS business models, pricing SaaS products, product development methodologies, and software engineering principles.
- Successful track record of hands-on product management of identifying, defining, packaging, pricing, and shipping software across conception, launch, and sunset.
- Experience directly managing and leading remote teams.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly and continuously iterate and learn.

Compensation:
The total compensation range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 annually. Final compensation for this role is determined by a variety of factors, such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.Â
