How you will help
In your role as VP of Product at HealthVerity, you will be at the helm of our SaaS product strategy, steering the development and execution of our software product portfolio to align with both our immediate and future business objectives. Your leadership will ensure that our product strategies are visionary while remaining grounded in HealthVerity's unique strengths in the healthcare data domain. By driving innovation and the development of cutting-edge SaaS products, you will drive our industry forward in unique ways.
Your role involves more than just internal leadership; you will forge deep connections with our clients, understanding their core needs, and integrating their insights into our product development process. This customer-first approach will ensure our products are not just innovative but also highly relevant and impactful.
As a strategic thinker, you will guide our product offerings into new markets, identifying opportunities for expansion and ensuring our products are well-positioned to meet emerging needs. Your advocacy for our products will enhance HealthVerity's visibility and influence in the healthcare sector, while your commitment to fostering a culture of excellence within our team will ensure we continue to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Through your leadership, we aim to set new standards for product launch success, user engagement, and market penetration, solidifying HealthVerity's position as a leader in healthcare technology solutions. What will you do
- Strategic Product Leadership: Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps across multiple software product areas, ensuring alignment with HealthVerity's short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Innovation and Product Development: Spearhead the development and market launch of innovative SaaS products/services within the healthcare sector, capitalizing on HealthVerity's unique leadership in the healthcare data marketplace.
- Market Expansion: Strategically expand HealthVerity's SaaS product offerings into new and adjacent markets and customer segments, leveraging our leadership position in healthcare data networks.
- Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers to deeply understand their needs, validate product strategies and roadmaps, and gather actionable feedback to inform continuous improvement.
- Product Advocacy: Represent and advocate for HealthVerity's product strategy in customer interactions and other external engagements, enhancing market presence and product visibility.
- Culture and Team Development: Foster a culture of accountability and excellence within the product team, nurturing talent and encouraging professional growth.
- Performance Metrics: Define, implement, and monitor key metrics, methodologies, and KPIs to measure and drive team success and product performance.
- Market Insights: Conduct thorough market analysis to uncover opportunities for product differentiation, innovation, and enhancement to meet emerging market needs.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with enterprise clients to understand their unique challenges and integrate their feedback into the product lifecycle, ensuring our solutions meet and exceed market demands.
- Product Launch Success Rate: Achieve a benchmark where new product areas reach or exceed $1MM in revenue within 18 months of launch.
- User Engagement: Enhance product engagement as evidenced by metrics such as DAU/MAU, feature usage rates, and overall time spent on the platform.
- Market Penetration: Increase market penetration of existing products by 20% year-over-year, as measured by the adoption rate among top-tier clients.
About you
- Proven experience in product management leadership roles within the SaaS and healthcare technology sectors
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate the future and develop comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps
- Demonstrated success in launching and scaling SaaS products, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of nurturing high-performing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
- You are a problem solver who is able to navigate complex and challenging situations and overcome them by identifying opportunities & managing risk
Required skills and experience
- 10+ years of product management role within the Enterprise B2B SaaS space
- Track record of innovative product development, particularly in using clinical data to drive healthcare solutions
- Experience in customer-centric product development, with a focus on data platform products
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science)
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Experience growing and maturing a portfolio of SaaS products
- Experience with modern product development practices and concepts
- Candidates with experience in SVPG trained product organizations will be in familiar territory.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
Hiring Locations
Our strong preference is to hire team members in the Philadelphia area whenever possible. Expansion beyond Philadelphia will occur when necessary with travel to our Philadelphia headquarters as required. Remote work is supported from our key hub locations listed below as well as approved states in the Eastern Time Zone.
