About the Role 

We are looking for a Visual Designer to help craft the future of Product Design for Stylitics. Stylitics serve a wide variety of retailers, as a Visual Designer you must be knowledgeable about trends in the digital space and can design for a wide variety of aesthetics. You are a critical thinker who uses beautiful visual design to enhance consumer experiences. Successful candidates will be independently driven, self-starters who can develop and execute on a vision. 

What You Will Do

  • Help define the future of digital retail by crafting an interchangeable and dynamic visual design system
  • Build scalable design language systems for typography, color, components, and layouts
  • Craft user interfaces for our digital consumer products on the front and back end
  • Build wayfinding and pictographic systems
  • Follow a user-centered design process, understanding real users motivations, behaviors and goals
  • Work with small multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll partner closely with engineering and product to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges
  • Contribute to product strategy by defining problems in insightful ways, understanding business needs, and innovating within technical constraints

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional visual design experience 
  • You have experience creating minimum viable products, utilizing rapid prototyping and iterative design techniques
  • You have an innate passion for learning new software design technologies and trends
  • You’re autonomous and self-managed. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way
  • You embrace change and ambiguity as an opportunity for design to lead through innovation
  • Highly developed design skills demonstrated in your portfolio of recent work
  • Confident presentation and storytelling abilities
  • Experience collaborating in multifunctional teams
  • Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools and methods
  • Business level ability in English
  • A growth-mindset. You’re open and receptive to feedback, and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Design Degree from an accredited University 
  • Experience with Interaction Design and micro interactions

Salary

When we find the right person, we try to put our best foot forward with an offer that excites you and is fair on our end. We consider the skills and experience you bring, what similar jobs pay and make sure there’s equal pay for equal work among those you’ll be working with. The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $110,000.00 - $140,000.00. The final offer also takes into account other factors of a total compensation package. Please note that the range is being shared in good faith and is subject to modification based on changing market and business conditions.
