VP, Partner Engineering, Marketing Cloud (REMOTE)

The goal of the VP, Partner Engineering role is to grow Acxiom's marketing cloud partner business though differentiated offerings spanning partner technology and Acxiom products and services.

This will be a growth role with a primary focus on leading ideation scoping in the sales process across Acxiom marketing tech and data cloud partners. These partners include Salesforce, Adobe, Snowflake, Google Cloud, and standalone CDPs. The role will be accountable for multi-product scoping and creation of repeatable offerings to drive Acxiom and partner growth.

It will be a role with significant cross-functional leadership requirements including Acxiom teams (sales, product, engineering, delivery), technology partner teams (field sales, partnership, and product orgs) and alignment with IPG where appropriate.

It will initially be an individual contributor role with the expectation of leading and growing a team with success and as the business scales.

Partner Engineering:

• Scope, architect, and communicate offerings spanning Acxiom data, identity, real-time services and partner technologies. These will include martech and cloud offerings that deliver on measurable marketer success metrics.
• Identity and launch repeatable offerings that solve patterns of market need, including vertical-specific and use-case-specific offerings
• Achieve certifications in partner technology prodcuts

Business Development:

• Participate in pipeline of opportunities with responsibility for multi-product scope -- working collaboratively with Acxiom Sales, Client leaders, and Partner BD
• Collaborate with the sales and/or product teams at technology partner orgs to develop and communicate repeatable Acxiom offerings

Client Management - Sales & Account Management:

• Support the partner BD function with a technical scope to pursue partner opportunities for new logo, upsell and growth
• Support the partner BD function with a technical scope to align with other IPG agency client, strategy, or other leadership for cross-agency sales pursuits and joint offering development
• Escalation point for any sales engagement issues related to partner technology

Thought Leadership

• Act as a thought leader in data-driven marketing; participate and present in industry events, conferences, and other forums with enterprise marketer attendance

What you will need:

• 10+ years of experience in marketing tech, digital, marketing services industry, marketing data and/or strategic partnerships.
• 10+ years leading technical scoping, architecture and design for complex offerings
• Ability to create new and creative partnership offerings and joint value propositions
• Strong networking and influence management skills that translate into building commitment and driving actions across organizational boundaries
• Ability to present to senior level executives as well as run and facilitate strategic working sessions
• Highly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and track record of delivering results
• Demonstrated success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships
• Bachelor's degree and master's degree in a related field
