As the VP, Product - Recognition and Conversations, you will be the driving force within the leadership team in defining and executing a successful product strategy for our market dominating Social Recognition and Conversations (continuous performance management) suite of products.
We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial Product Leader to help innovate and execute product development. You will be globally responsible for developing a clear product roadmap to deliver product innovations from concept to release across Workhuman's Recognition & Conversations suite, with a specific focus on developing products that reinforce what it means to "work human." This role is highly cross-functional, partnering closely with teams of engineers, architects, designers, data scientists, and researchers to build exceptional products that deliver on our mission to "make work human." You will be leading a Product Management team by sharing your vision and advocating a culture of innovation, determination, imagination, and respect.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop, design, and implement a compelling product vision aligned with company business goals backed by robust data and quantitative research.
- Drive strategic direction by working effectively with cross-functional teams to gain alignment between product managers, designers, and engineers and then harness their expertise to deliver an exceptional product experience.
- Lead and manage the product management team empowering them as they collaborate with external customers in establishing roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, and scoping, building, and launching new features and improved functionalities.
- Create a data-centric culture that empowers a relentless focus on rapid testing & iteration.
- Build with both a short- and long-term view that keeps us positioned in the right direction to achieve our long-term goals, while taking advantage of present-day opportunities.
- Act as the customer advocate in the development process - guiding the product's design, usability, and functionality.
The skills and experience you will bring:
- 15+ years of successful business leadership contributing to and blending product strategy, product management, and product marketing activities.
- Proven ability to set and communicate a vision and inspire and lead cross-functional teams to execute against this vision.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and gather consensus and champion the best ideas.
- Strong use of analytics, user research, and business cases to drive decisions and improve products.
- Proven track record of product innovation changing the dynamics of an existing or emerging market.
- Experience working in an enterprise cloud-based environment is highly desired.
- Active participation in client management, sales, and marketing opportunities, including speaking engagements and serving as a product evangelist to customers and large sales opportunities.
