Role Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - The following is a partial listing of the job responsibilities for this position:

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties including emptying and filling barrels, clocking barrels in ricks of various lengths, moving barrels with various equipment and by hand, receives and reduces entry product, performs coopering, warehouse inspection and extracting of samples for quality control.
• Must maintain quality standards for the warehouse, as well as maintain adherence to scheduling and departmental / equipment cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Follows job safety and environmental requirements and communicates concerns to immediate supervisor.
• Follow all Food Safety (HACCP and ISO) guidelines, policies and procedures

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS - Persons applying for this position must:

• Successfully demonstrate their proficiency by passing a written mathematical skills test. Must be capable of learning to proof and reduce tanks of alcohol.
• Be able to physically perform all aspects of the warehouse position, to include ability to maneuver and handle heavy weights (500 lb. barrels).
• Be able to walk up and down stairs frequently
• Have acceptable (or corrected with glasses) visual acuity and depth perception. Will be required to take and pass an eye examination.
• Be able to read and write legibly, in English, with understanding.
• Be able to work any shift.
• Display a teamwork attitude.
